Fresh Music Roundup #6 – July 14th 2015

Majid Jordan (ft. Drake) – My Love

Drake’s OVO signees are back with a new release, ‘My Love’, following their EP, ‘A Place Like This’. This catchy number kind of reminds me of Enrique Iglesias and Ciara’s track, ‘Taking Back My Love’, and I don’t know if that’s good or bad. However, this song is likeable and Drake-esque enough to get radio airplay.

Sevyn Streeter (ft. B.o.B) – Shoulda Been There

Sevyn Streeter is making her relationship with Atlanta rapper, B.o.B public with the release of her latest single, ‘Shoulda Been There’. The track criticizes an ex for not being around enough and missing out on a load of fun memories, thus leading to the ending of the relationship.

Janet Jackson – No Sleep

The legend that is Janet, is back with new material after announcing a world tour set to begin in August.

Jess Glynne – Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself

Songstress of the moment, Jess Glynne, releases her latest single straight after securing her 4th UK number one single with Tinie Tempah.

Meek Mill (ft. Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj) – All Eyes On You

Similarly to Sev & Bobby Ray, Meek and Nicki share their love with the world (with a little help from Chris Brown).
